One of Aotearoa’s most soulful voices is back with a new album.
Hollie Smith’s much-anticipated Coming in From the Dark is her first record in over five years.
“It kind of does weave its way through several different timelines of my life and where things have gone so yeah, there’s lots of personal moments in there,” the 38-year-old told Seven Sharp.
The album features Kiwi artists Teeks, Sol3 Mio and rapper Raiza Biza. “Listening to it in a quiet place, sort of space for yourself, set some mood lighting, have a glass of wine or a kombucha and just have a chill,” she said of her album. “I’d love for people to be able to sit down and really, really take it in.”
