Police have launched an investigation into a large house party that happened on Saturday night on Auckland's North Shore.
Inspector Mark Fergus said police were "disappointed" by the gathering, given it's prohibited under Alert Level 3.
Police were first notified of the Redvale party in the early hours of Sunday morning after receiving multiple noise complaints.
Fergus said when police arrived at the address around 4am, most of the partygoers had already left but police did speak with the organisers.
Police had multiple reports lodged by members of the public after videos taken from the gathering went viral on social media.
"This footage is being reviewed and police are looking at enforcement options available for this matter," Fergus said.
Further inquiries into the gathering are currently underway and the footage taken of the party is being reviewed.
