One dead, two hurt in Auckland crash

A person has died and two others are injured in a crash in south-east Auckland on Monday.

The incident involving two vehicles occurred on Highbrook Drive near El Kobar Drive in East Tamaki around 6.20am.

Police say one person died at the scene.

The driver of the second vehicle was seriously hurt, and their passenger suffered moderate injures.

Part of Highbrook Drive is closed while investigations take place.
