As New Zealand settles into its latest lockdown, its Paralympians have arrived in Tokyo for their moment on the global stage.

After a 10-hour socially distant flight, the team arrived at Narita Airport, and like our Olympians a month or so earlier, have a long wait to undergo Covid-enhanced protocols.

Michelle Prendiville reports from Tokyo.

TVNZ Duke will show all the New Zealand moments from noon until 1am daily from August 24, and highlights will be on TVNZ 1, Duke and OnDemand.
