Wallabies great and Tonga coach Toutai Kefu is fighting for his life after being stabbed in a Brisbane home invasion, according to reports.
Australia's Channel 7 says Kefu was trying to defend his family at home in Coorparoo after three men broke in overnight.
There was a brawl, resulting in Kefu being stabbed in the stomach.
He was rushed to hospital with abdominal wounds, Channel 7 says.
His wife, son and daughter were also treated for wounds in hospital.
One attacker was held by neighbours, but two others are on the run.
Kefu played 60 matches for the Wallabies as a powerful No 8.
He coached Tonga to defeat by the All Blacks earlier this year.
