Teen killed in Timaru crash farewelled with funeral haka

The second of five funerals for the victims of a horror Timaru crash last weekend has been held Friday. 

Family and friends gathered for the emotional farewell of 15-year-old Javarney Wayne Drummond. 

Students from Mountain View Highschool, where he was a student, performed a haka as part of the ceremony. 

Colourful balloons were also released into the sky in tribute.

His father, Stephen Drummond, told 1 NEWS it was tragic for all those affected. 

A funeral for another of the five victims will be held this weekend.
