One person has died following a workplace incident in Lower Hutt this afternoon.
A police spokesperson told 1 NEWS they were called to the incident at a business in Taitā just before 2.30pm.
"We understand there has been a fall from a height," WorkSafe said.
The person died at the scene.
WorkSafe has opened an investigation into the person's death.
Police are making inquiries in relation to the death on behalf of the Coroner.
