Three people have been arrested in connection to a shooting in the Auckland suburb of Flat Bush, which left one person injured.
Police swarmed a property on Whimbrel Road this afternoon, where one person was found with a gunshot wound.
The person was rushed to the hospital.

A vehicle of interest had been seen driving away from the property shortly before police arrived.
Two hours later, police were notified of the same vehicle having been stopped on Hillsborough Road, near the Hillsborough Road off-ramp, Detective Inspector Chris Barry said.
Two people from the car were found nearby and were taken into custody by police.

A third person was located shortly after, while a gun and ammunition were found in the vehicle.
“The three men are assisting police with our enquiries into the Flat Bush incident,” Barry said.

“Charges are yet to be laid but cannot be ruled out.”
A scene investigation of the Whimbrel Road property is still underway as police continue with their investigation.
