Person critically injured following Auckland crash between car, pedestrian

One person has been critically injured following a crash between a car and pedestrian in Auckland this afternoon.

Police say the crash was reported on Abbotts Way, in Remuera, shortly after 4pm.

One person has been transported to hospital with critical injuries.

Cordons are in place on Abbotts Way and motorists have been advised to avoid the area.

The serious crash unit has been notified.
