One person airlifted to hospital after hang glider crashes near Christchurch

One person has been airlifted to hospital following a hang glider crash near Te Onepoto/Taylors Mistake on the outskirts of Christchurch.

The incident was reported to police just before 12.40pm.

A Canterbury District Health Board spokesperson has tonight confirmed the patient is in a stable condition.
