There are no new Covid-19 cases in the community today, but there is one case at the border, the Ministry of Health says.
The case had travelled from the Philippines, arriving in the country on June 19.
They had tested positive for the virus on day three of their stay in managed isolation, but the ministry said there was a delay in reporting this as the person was under investigation as a positive case.
They were now deemed to be an active case, it said.
The total number of active cases in the country is 36, while the total number of cases to date is 2402.
Given it has been more than 14 days since the Australian traveller left Wellington, the ministry said no further contact tracing or testing was required.
"No further updates on this situation are planned," it said.
"We would like to thank everyone who came forward to be tested and co-operated with contact tracers, and the many staff across the system who worked to respond effectively to this situation."
Yesterday, seven cases were picked up in managed isolation.
