Three people injured after diesel burner catches fire in Auckland

Three people have been injured after a diesel burner caught fire in Auckland last night.

A Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesperson told 1 NEWS two fire engines were called to the scene in Waiuku after being alerted to the incident at 9.10pm.

The fire was out upon arrival.

A helicopter was dispatched to assist ambulance staff at the scene.

Three people were treated with two of them transported to Middlemore Hospital, according to St John.
