Police name person who died after crash between truck and train in Marton

Police have named the person who died following a crash involving a train and a truck in Marton earlier this month. 

He was Hanxin Zheng, aged 36, from Palmerston North.

Police earlier confirmed the person who died was travelling in the truck when the accident happened on Thursday May 13.

Inquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
