Southern District commander superintendent Paul Basham and Dr Rich Stephenson, Southern DHB ED clinical director, will provide an update after yesterday afternoon's mass stabbing at a supermarket in Dunedin from 3pm.
Their update comes after a 42-year-old man charged with four counts of attempted murder appeared in the Dunedin District court this afternoon.
He’s been remanded in custody without plea.
