Child dies in 'absolute tragedy' at Northland property

April 19, 2021

A child has died at a Far North property in what police are calling an "absolute tragedy".

The child died at the Awanui property yesterday morning and the death will be referred to the Coroner.

"This is an absolute tragedy for the family and police’s thoughts are with the family at this time."

NZME has reported the death may be water-related.
