Woman reported missing from Bay of Plenty home found safe and well - police

A 35-year-old woman missing from her Bay of Plenty home since yesterday afternoon has been found safe and well.

Genevieve, who's last name was not shared, was last seen at her home in Pahoia, Whakamārama, by her family about 4.30pm yesterday, police earlier said in a statement.

However, in an update they said she was found this afternoon.

"Police would like to thank the public for their concern and assistance."
