Pedestrian seriously injured in incident involving car in Whanganui

A pedestrian has been seriously injured after an accident involving a car in Whanganui.

The crash happened on Anzac Parade at 10.40am today.

Police say one person has been seriously injured.

The road is closed and motorists are asked to avoid the area.
