A fire has gutted a house in Ahipara, a small settlement in the Far North.
Firefighters and police are at the scene, at the southern end of 90 Mile beach.
It follows a number of suspicious fires in the area recently.
No one was home at the time of the blaze, which started at around 4am.
The fire is being treated as suspicious.
