Princess Eugenie welcomes baby boy

Princess Eugenie has given birth to a baby boy this morning.

In a statement, Buckingham Palace said the baby weighed 8lbs, 1oz. Husband Jack Brooksbank was by his wife’s side at The Portland Hospital.

The Queen, Prince Philip, Prince Andrew and the Duchess of York are said to be "delighted" with the news.

The royal has announced the birth on her Instagram page and shared a black and white photo of herself and husband holding their son’s hand.
