Will Jordan has shown his talents extend beyond the rugby field notching up a respectable 49 runs off 29 balls in the Black Clash today.

The Crusaders fullback scored at ease against Team Cricket at Christchurch's Hagley Oval, opening the innings with former All Black and ex-Samoa International cricket represeantative Ofisa Tunu'u.

While Tunu'u paced his innings with a series of singles, Jordan flew straight into action.

Jordan showed a wide range of shots in his repertoire scoring all over the field notching up six fours and two sixes.

After a wayward cut shot attempt, Jordan was ultimately dismissed one run short of a half-century, caught behind in a slick piece of wicket keeping from Adam Parore off the bowling of Craig McMillan.
