One person dead after boat capsized off Days Bay, Lower Hutt

One person has died after a boat capsized in Days Bay, Lower Hutt this afternoon.  

Emergency services were notified of the boat that had capsized at 4:04pm. 

Attempts to revive the person were unsuccessful and police say they died at the scene. 

Police say the death will be referred to the Coroner.
