Person dies following tractor accident near Alexandra

A person has died following an accident involving a tractor at a rural property in Earnscleugh near Alexandra in Otago this afternoon.

Police say they were alerted to the incident around 1.50pm.

WorkSafe has been notified.

The death will be referred to the Coroner.
