Police release name of 14-year-old boy who died after Tauranga crash involving truck

Police have this evening named the teenager who died following a crash between a cyclist and a truck on Sandhurst Drive, Papamoa Beach in Tauranga yesterday.

He was 14-year-old Hugo Shaw, of Cambridge.

Police have expressed their sympathy and condolences to his family.

Inquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
