Kiwis' shopping habits changed in 2020, with more getting behind local businesses and opting for secondhand gifts this festive season, according to Trade Me's annual Christmas survey.
Fifty-three per cent of respondents said they were less likely to buy from overseas as a result of Covid-19, looking local more than in previous years.
Meanwhile, secondhand gifts are growing in popularity, with a seven per cent increase when compared with this time last year.
