One person dead after South Auckland crash

One person has died following a crash in Auckland last night.

In a statement, police said they were called to the crash near the intersection of Karaka Road and Oira Road in Counties Manukau shortly before 9pm.

Four other people have moderate to minor injuries.

The road was closed while the Serious Crash Unit examines the scene.
