One dead in three-car crash near Christchurch

A person has died after a three-car crash just outside of Christchurch yesterday afternoon, authorities confirmed this morning. 

Police say they were alerted to the crash at the section of Birchs and Robinsons roads in Prebbleton just after 3.30pm. 

Anyone who may have witnessed the accident is urged to contact police on 105.
