Visually impaired Auckland woman found 'safe and well' after going missing yesterday

A missing West Auckland woman has been found safe in the Henderson Valley area. 

Salalene Asimotu had been missing since the early hours of yesterday morning .

In a statement police say the 32-year old who is visually impaired was found "safe and well" by officers this afternoon.

They say they'd "like to acknowledge the wider West Auckland community's help with their search".
