Panthers halfback Nathan Cleary was the victim of some A-grade trolling at the hands of Paramatta's stadium DJ, as the Eels took a 16-10 victory in the NRL.
Making his return to the NRL after a two-game ban for breaching Covid-19 lockdown rules , Cleary's first kick of the night came with a stern reminder of his antics.
The 22-year-old was caught on social media app TikTok dancing to the Weekend's "Blinding Lights," which coincidentally happened to be the exact same song that blared as Clearly lined up his first kick.
The move seeming all the more deliberate, with no real fans in the Bankwest Stadium crowd to hear the song, only cardboard cutouts.
The ploy was a success, Cleary's first shot missing the target.
