Hurricanes halfback TJ Perenara is sure he'll have one or two quips for Beauden Barrett when the two sides face off against each other this weekend.
Speaking to media at training yesterday, Perenara couldn't help but grin when asked if he had any words at the ready for his former teammate.
"I'm sure there'll be a few words in the spirit of the game," he said.
Prior to Barrett's departure from Wellington, he spent nine seasons with the Hurricanes and in that time amassed over 100 games as a halfback-flyhalf combo with Perenara.
With so much experience together, Barrett told media this afternoon he was expecting the odd bit of banter.

"Undoubtably, there'll be some cheeky comments," Barrett said.
"There'll be all sorts out there - definitely from Colesy and it wouldn't be TJ without a few cheeky comments."
The Blues and Hurricanes face off on Sunday afternoon at Eden Park.
