Police reopen Christchurch motorway after crash leaves car standing vertically

A single-car crash is bottlenecking northbound traffic on Christchurch’s Southern Motorway.

The car flipped after crashing into a median barrier, and is sitting vertically on its bonnet.

Police say no one was injured but there is oil on the road.

Authorities have since reopened the motorway and nearby on-ramps.
