Residents of a Wellington suburb have found themselves implementing a patriotic new routine during the ongoing Covid-19 lockdown.

In a brilliant display of Kiwi pride, one Camborne resident is blasting the New Zealand national anthem daily.

At 4.55pm on the dot, German-American-Kiwi Horst Maczuga blasts God Defend New Zealand.

Seven Sharp's Julian Lee went along to get involved with the Camborne community.
