A Bachelorette NZ contestant who was tested for Covid-19 on Wednesday has returned a negative result, meaning Seven Sharp host Jeremy Wells no longer needs to be in self-isolation.

Wells had been in precautionary self-isolation after interviewing the contestant.

Wells Skyped into Seven Sharp on Wednesday night.

Jeremy spent another day in isolation today because someone he interviewed is awaiting test results for Covid 19, so he's self-isolating as a precaution. (Source: Other)

“I am 100 per cent fine, never felt better, but I was in contact with someone showing cold-like symptoms and in the meantime best to take precautions and go into self-isolation," he said.
