Cambridge's velodrome closed after person possibly exposed to coronavirus visited site

The Avantidrome cycling facility in Cambridge has been closed due to concerns that someone who had potential exposure to coronavirus and was displaying symptoms was at the facility yesterday.

"That person had recently returned from overseas and is being tested for Covid-19," Avantidrome said in a statement.

The Home of Cyling Charitable Trust, which operates the Avantidrome, has taken the precautionary measure to close it.
