Water has seemingly turned into wine in an Italian village in an event of biblical proportions.
Residents in the northern region of Emilia-Romagna received a divine surprise after turning on their taps to find Lambrusco, a sparkling red flowing out instead of water.
As it turns out it was no miracle but a defective silo at a nearby winery mistakenly pumping the booze into the water supply.
