One person dead after crash near Taumaranui

One person has died following a crash on State Highway 4 at Manunui near Taumaranui in the King Country.

Police were notified of the two vehicle crash at 6:06pm this evening.

State Highway 4 between Mahoe Road and Tanoa Street will remain closed for several hours, police said in a statement released at 9.20pm.
