Police have advised they will be conducting a training exercise from tomorrow through until Friday at a Wellington property.
Police say there will be an 'increased police presence' around the location of 101 Rongotai Road in Kilbirnie.
"Members of the public may hear breaking glass and some loud bangs coming from the venue," a statement said today.
Police have reassured residents that there is no cause for concern.
