Person at large after serious assault near Auckland’s St Lukes shopping mall

Police are seeking a person believed to have committed a serious assault this afternoon near Westfield St Lukes shopping mall in Auckland.

Police say they were called to the scene at about 3.15pm.

The person left the area in a vehicle and police are still trying to locate them.

Police say an Eagle helicopter is involved in the search for the offender who is still at large.
