Person dies after water incident at Whakatane's Ohope Beach

February 7, 2020

A person has died after being pulled unresponsive from the water at Ohope Beach, Whakatane this afternoon.

Police say emergency services were called to the beach at about 3.50pm.

The death will be referred to the Coroner.
