Person dies at in 'work-related' accident in Wairoa

A person has died in a work-related accident in Wairoa in Hawke's Bay today.

In a statement to 1 NEWS today police say: "One person has died following a work-related in incident".

"Police responded to a sudden death at 5.41pm at an address on Hunter-Brown St."

"Inquiries are ongoing and WorkSafe has been notified."
