One person arrested following shooting on Kāpiti Coast

One person has been arrested after gun shots were fired in Ōtaki on the Kāpiti Coast today.

Police say they attended the incident at 1pm and are currently seeking two witnesses. 

Anyone with information who has not yet spoken to police are encouraged to do so.

Police say there is not thought to be any risk to safety, and no one was injured.
