When New Plymouth's gifted children needed a home, it wasn't a teacher or a principal who found them a place to feel safe, it was a mum.

Katja Eager has two gifted children - who think and learn a little differently - and when school wasn't working, she founded a new one.

Hadyn Jones catches up with tonight's Good Sort in the video above.
