It’s fair to say New Zealanders love to know what the weather’s doing.

But New Zealand is a difficult environment to forecast weather for with its geography and oceans making it a challenge for forecasters.

But so many of us depend on an accurate forecast for business, or just knowing what to wear.

Over the years the way 1 NEWS has brought you the weather has changed dramatically.
