One person dead after early-morning fire in south Auckland

One person has died in a house fire this morning in Mangere, Auckland.

Fire and Emergency New Zealand said the fire broke out at a home on Ettrick Place about 5am this morning.

Four fire engines were sent to the scene and the house was well involved in fire when they arrived.
