Beauden Barrett has revealed the All Blacks would have let him and his brother head home during Rugby World Cup quarter-finals week after they learned of their grandfather Ted's death.
Speaking to media today Barrett said the team had been a great support to him and his brothers following the sad news.
“Yeah, obviously it was a tough time and the team were awesome being around and supporting us and giving us the option to go home if that’s what we needed to do.”
