There are renewed calls from the families of the 115 victims of the CTV building collapse for a major overhaul of New Zealand's building industry.

They want to stop more deaths due to substandard buildings.

They've penned an open letter to the Government expressing their concerns, after a new report identified over 100 buildings with structural deficiencies around the country.
