Man charged with murder after Foxton shooting victim dies

The Horowhenua town has been the scene of a manhunt following today’s shooting on Main St. (Source: Other)

A man has been charged with murder after another man died today, following a shooting in Foxton yesterday.

The man, 47, sustained critical injuries after being shot and was taken to hospital after the incident on Main St.

This afternoon police confirmed the man has died.

Police say a 46-year-old man, who was arrested earlier today, has now been charged with murder.

The man will appear in Palmerston North District Court tomorrow.
