Australia gets first look at trackless trams, set to be rolled out in Sydney

Western Sydney residents may soon be travelling by futuristic looking trackless trams.

Animations obtained by Australia's Nine News shows the technology in action.

Liverpool Council hopes to use the trackless trams to take passengers from the CBD to the Badgerys Creek Airport.

If implemented, the trams would be the first of their kind in Australia.
