Four-year-old killed by forklift at residential worksite in Canterbury

WorkSafe has been notified and will investigate after a four-year-old was killed by a forklift on a residential worksite in Canterbury today.

The incident took place at a property in Prebbleton, police said in a statement.

According to police, they were called to the incident around 1.50pm. 

The child received medical attention, but died at the scene.
