One person dead after boating incident on Auckland's Manukau Harbour

One person is dead after a vessel overturned on Auckland's Manukau Harbour today.

Police say they were alerted to the incident at 12.20pm when three people were pulled from the water by a member of the public in a passing boat.

One person died at the scene.

The others sustained minor injuries and were taken to hospital.

Police are investigating.
