Man charged following serious assaults on women in central Auckland

A 35-year-old man has been charged with one count of indecent assault following reports of a number of serious assaults on women in central Auckland yesterday.

Police have now received 12 complaints and further charges will be filed.

He was arrested by police on Elliot Street around 2:50pm.

The man is due to appear in Auckland District Court tomorrow.
